New favorite Pet Store: Cherrybrook

So what’s the first thing you do after you move? You find the nearest pet supplies store! I stopped by Cherrybrook and it was pretty awesome. I used to have to head down to Princeton for quality dog food but no more! This one is about 10 minutes away from my apartment. On top of having bully sticks, they stock up on Orijin and premade raw food. Now I have absolutely no reason to try out raw. So I did :)

I bought a package of Nature’s Variety, Chicken & Turkey premade raw and going to try it starting tomorrow. I would’ve started it today but it has to be defrosted overnight.

I also got Pong Pong some Big Boyz Sweet Potato Dog Chewz (Sam’s Yams) and she LOVES them. I’ve even gotten her doing tricks for it!

In totally I spent around 50 bucks for Raw Chicken & Turkey Medallions (3lb), Yams Dog Chews, five 6’’ bully sticks, and one Busy Buddy Tug a Jug. The Busy Buddy is for morning kibbles so she’ll at least be entertained for a good 15 minutes after I leave for work.

Overall, good trip with the exception I almost got lost getting there. Yes, i know, it’s a very common occurrence..

Here we go again!

It is the beginning of the year once again. So what do we do at the beginning of every year?

Start exercising!

I know, it sounds crazy but I am going to try and stick with it this time. Pong Pong has also put on some winter weight so both of us are going to work out together.

I am currently using various exercises to keep it ‘fresh’. I’m not really a fan of [...]

Gated!

We recently got two gates to uhm, make the house a safer place for dogs. Yes… not because they are in our faces while we eat or destroy stuff when we’re not home… no.

They are working out pretty well and are very solid. These are the ones we got: Summer Infant Decor Extra Tall Gates though I definitely did not pay that price!

I can mount them  so I don’t ruin the walls and they came with a small extension or a large extension so it’ll fit your hallway pretty well. In the picture, we attached a small extension.

Pretty nifty and keeps the dogs in their designated spots! They haven’t really attempt a breakout yet so we’ll see how it holds up :)

Take a Guess!

What's going on?!

I’ll let ya guess what’s going on in this picture..

busy buddy twist ‘n treat Toy Review

busy buddy Toy

busy buddy Toy

So there was an amazon deal where I can get 4 toys for 30ish bucks. Oh what the hell right? I need something to entertain the kids when we are not here. They arrived a week later and it’s pretty cool. Today I will be reviewing the busy buddy twist ‘n treat toy. I’m sure you can probably get it at your local pet store, but if you can’t, Amazon carries it. My dogs were super duper excited (or maybe it was just Jada) and Pong immediately took ownership and started playing with it.

I bought these toys thinking it would be a great mind distractor while me and Jon are at work. However, as you can see in the video, it is definitely not a good idea to leave this toy with the girls alone.

I do apologize for the crappy quality of my video and picture this time around. My camera battery died and I had to resort to the IPhone.
