Stroll in the Park

I finally did what I said I was going to do: explore the many parks of Somerset. This weekend, we headed up to Natirir Park and it was HUGE. It has a lot of open space and a nice little path.

Pongy took a pit stop before we made it into the actual ‘hike’ part. Haha.

There wasn’t anything to ’see’ per say, but it was still very beautiful :)

I think overall, Pong took about 5 pit stops. She (and me!) need to exercise more. hehe.

Hiking with the Stooges

Since it turned out to be a beautiful weekend, we decided to go hiking. Pro: perfect weather, not too hot, not too cold. Con: mud puddles. The forest was still not dry from the gallons of rain that we received the week before.

So here are the three “what mud?” stooges:

Loki, the Viszla

Chance, the horse

Pong Pong, the fat cat (notice she’s sitting in mud)

It was about a two hour hike filled with uncrossable terrains and soaked shoes. It was very pretty though despite the almost dead vegitation around us.

Hopefully we can go hiking again soon :)

February CNJ Shiba Inu Meetup

I finally got around to going to one of these again! We saw tons of shibas and Pong Pong actually did a little bit of running this time :)

Here are some of my favorite pictures I took from the meetup:

Gate to go in

Sorry for the late posting for this. I am ridiculous with forgetting to post places we actually go. It was fun this year and we got a crapload of loot for 50 bucks (jon and me = 25×2). I gave all the makeup stuff to my housemate since I don’t really use it. I had pictures of the swag but.. I’m not sure which computer it’s on. I tend to go back and forth with uploading pictures on my laptop or my desktop. Ah..the pleasure of having both. Though at work we have Macs now and…well the temptation to get one is there. Unfortunately, I have already spent WAYYY past our budget this month. Maybe next? hehe.

Two Tans at the Dog Park

Here are the two shibas we saw at the dog park.
