I finally got around to going to one of these again! We saw tons of shibas and Pong Pong actually did a little bit of running this time :)
Here are some of my favorite pictures I took from the meetup:

I was trying to clean my car so I thought it was a good idea to throw the snow at Pong Pong. She got distracted at the end so I *had* to get her attention back with more snowballs :D

When I read this post from The Misadventures of a Shiba Inu, I was like ‘Omg! Pong does the same thing!’ I have proof too :)
You can see that she sunk a few times but for the most part, she is light enough (I know!) to stay above the snow.
Yes, it is technically Pong related, and no, I am not sending her to ‘the farm’.

That one is for play, and this one is for sleep :)

I sound more excited than I should since I have been a bum this week.
Since January 15th, Pong and I have walked 13 times, at a total distance of 17.40 miles which concludes to 6 hours and 57 minutes.
It may seem like big numbers, but it really isn’t. That’s an average of 1.09 miles a day. I did skip a few days (especially weekends!) so hopefully I can increase this by the next month.
Here’s a video of Pongy on one of our walks:
The moment she saw the ball, she had to play with it. Then she got distracted by something so she walked away. I swear, she played with that ball for a good 5 minutes before I pulled out the iphone.
Goal for next month: 2.5 miles avg per day! :)
Pong Pong was receiving apple slices as an after dinner snack. I accidently gave her the last 2 slices and she began walking away with them instead of eating them on the spot. Pongy has a tendency to horde if she can’t eat it all without dropping the food. I gave her a stern ‘ehhh’; she stopped in her path, looked at me, and slowly walked back with the slices still in her mouth. She then dropped both slices and began to eat it right in front of me instead of ruining the carpeted area she was intent on hiding her snack.
